Chunghae ENV Co., Ltd. (CEO Byeongkwan Lee) was honored with the Environment Minister's Award, the highest award of the 2013 Green Environment Awards, at the Press Center International Conference Hall of the Korea Press Foundation on the 24th.

Chunghae ENV Co., Ltd. was highly praised for its contribution to the technological development and progress of the field by developing several sewage treatment technologies such as composite absorbers using biogas, sludge-aerobic technology, and high concentration wastewater treatment systems.

National Assembly's Environmental Labor Committee Chairman Award was won by Keumnyeong Industrial Development Co., Ltd., the Korea Environmental Corporation Chairman Award by Space Environment Co., Ltd., and the Korea Environmental Industry Technology Institute Award by Ida City&D Co., Ltd.

"With the award, Chunghae ENV Co., Ltd. will continue to grow as a global environmental company," CEO Byeongkwan Lee said. "We will fulfill our responsibility and calling to pass on eco-friendly land to our descendants by speeding up research on new technology development.

"Chunghae ENV Co., Ltd. is a representative environmental company in our city and has won environmental-related orders not only for our city but also for the whole country. It was selected as an excellent environmental company in Gyeonggi Province and Gyeonggi Province. It is making a leap forward as an environmental company around the world, participating in the Green Road Show in Shanghai and the World Solar Energy Expo.
